Application
Ardabond Power is suitable for bonding ceramic wall tiles up to 30x30 cm.
Processing
Substrate: Surfaces must be dry, remain dry, clean, dust- and grease-free. The substrate must be pressure-, shape-, and tensile-resistant and stay that way. Unevenness greater than 3 mm must be leveled. Gypsum-based and highly absorbent substrates may contain a maximum of 2% moisture and should be primed with Ardagrip Classic. Old tiled walls can also be used as substrates. Clean old tiles with ArdaCleaner and prime with Ardagrip Xpress afterwards.
Application: Do not apply Ardabond Power at ambient and substrate temperatures below +5°C. Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel. Press the tile into the adhesive ridges with a sliding motion within 30 minutes. Choose the notch depth so that at least 65% of the tile's back is covered with adhesive. When bonding on porous walls, grouting can start after at least 24 hours. Longer drying time may be necessary on non-porous substrates.
Cleaning tools: Remove adhesive residues immediately and clean tools with water.
