Application
Ardacolor Maxi is suitable for grouting ceramic wall and floor coverings, including porcelain gres, cotto, mosaic, split tiles, glass mosaic, bricks, stone strips, concrete stone, and non-discoloring natural stone types* both indoors and outdoors. Also suitable for substrates with underfloor heating. For heavily used wet areas use Ardacolor Flex. For high chemical and mechanical stress use Ardaflex Xtrem.
* Test beforehand to prevent staining.
Processing
Substrate: Before starting work, remove old grout if necessary and clean the substrate. Joint edges must be clean and free of glue/mortar residues. Joints should also be sufficiently deep. It is important that the substrate is evenly dry. Differences in moisture in the substrate can cause staining or color variation in the grout.
Mixing: Pour clean, cold water into a clean mixing bucket. Approximately 5.2 liters of water per 25 kg of Ardacolor Maxi. Approximately 1.0 liter of water per 5 kg of Ardacolor Maxi. Then add Ardacolor Maxi while mixing until a lump-free, homogeneous mass is obtained.
Application: The freshly prepared grout can now be applied with a grout float, rubber spatula, or floor squeegee, filling the joints deeply enough. After the grout mortar dulls, cleaning of the tiles can begin.
