Application
Ardaflex Flex Mortar is suitable for bonding ceramic wall and floor tiles, including porcelain stoneware, glass, and porcelain mosaic, both indoors, outdoors, and under water. The use of Ardaflex Flex Mortar is particularly recommended:
- For bonding to difficult substrates in terms of adhesion, such as exposed concrete, mastic asphalt and calcium sulfate-based floors, old tile coverings, gypsum plaster and drywall boards.
- On substrates where significant expansion and contraction due to temperature variations is expected, such as screeds with underfloor heating, balconies, terraces, and facades.
- On concrete tiles and concrete surfaces that are still drying and subject to shrinkage.
- On non-discoloring natural stone.
Application Instructions
Substrate: Must be solid, dry, and free of contaminants or separating agents.
Priming: Use Ardagrip Classic for absorbent and gypsum-based substrates (apply 2 coats for gypsum-based). Use Ardagrip Xpress for non-absorbent indoor substrates.
Processing: Do not apply Ardaflex Flex Mortar at temperatures below +5°C. Expansion joints in ceramic coverings must be applied as prescribed. Always consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.

Ardaflex Flex Mortar
Ardaflex Flex Mortar becomes a ready-to-use, hydraulically hardening, flexible thin-bed mortar after adding water. It offers excellent application properties and strong initial adhesion. Once cured, the adhesive mortar is permanently moisture-resistant, frost-resistant, and highly deformable. Ardaflex Flex Mortar meets the requirements of C2 TE - S1 according to EN 12004 / 12002 and complies with flex mortar guidelines. This adhesive also meets the EC1 standard.

Storage and Shelf Life
Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life of at least 12 months.
