Application
Ardaflex Turbo can be used indoors, outdoors, and underwater. It is suitable for bonding ceramic coverings such as gres tiles, including porcelain gres, split tiles, fine ceramic tiles, klinkers, and mosaic, as well as non-staining natural stone and moisture-sensitive natural stone. Additionally, other materials like insulation boards and gypsum boards can be bonded with Ardaflex Turbo.
Processing
Substrate: The substrate must be suitable for bonding ceramic coverings and tested according to DIN 18352. It is important that the substrate is free of formwork oil, efflorescence, cracks, and stress. The surface must not be frozen or too moist.
Mixing: Ardaflex Turbo is mixed with approx. 6 liters of water per 25 kg powder in a clean container until lump-free. A mixing machine is recommended. After a maturation time of about 3 minutes, stir briefly again. The prepared adhesive should be used immediately. The processing time at +20°C is 20-30 minutes.
Applying the adhesive: Ardaflex Turbo is first applied in a thin layer on the substrate with the smooth side of a notched trowel. Then fresh mortar is applied onto this wet contact layer and combed out with a notched trowel suitable for the tile size. Only as much substrate as can be covered with tiles while the adhesive bed is still fresh should be pre-coated.

Ardaflex Flexmortel Turbo
Ardaflex Flexmortel Turbo is a easy-to-use, fast-curing adhesive mortar that hardens after adding water. It contains a high percentage of synthetic resin additives to improve adhesion. The cured mortar is waterproof and frost-resistant. Ardaflex Turbo meets the C2 FT - S1 requirements according to DIN EN 12004 / 12002 and complies with flexible mortar guidelines. It also meets the EC1 standard.
