Application
ArdaFlex XXL is suitable for bonding all ceramic tiles, especially large-format, on walls in both indoor and outdoor applications. It can also be used to bond non-color-sensitive natural and artificial stone slabs. Suitable for underfloor heating systems as well. Additionally, ArdaFlex XXL can be used as a repair mortar to fill holes, depressions, and cracks up to a maximum layer thickness of 20 mm.
Processing
Substrate: The substrate must be firm, dry, and free of contaminants or separating layers. When bonding large-format tiles, walls and/or floors should be level.
Mixing: ArdaFlex XXL is mixed clump-free with tap water in a clean bucket. A mixing machine is recommended. After a maturation time of about 3 minutes, stir briefly again, then the mortar is ready to use. The mixed material can be processed for approximately 3 - 4 hours.
Applying the adhesive: ArdaFlex XXL is first applied in a thin layer to the substrate with the smooth side of a notched trowel. Fresh mortar is then applied onto this wet contact layer and combed out with a notched trowel suitable for the tile size. Only as much substrate should be pre-coated as can be covered with tiles while the adhesive bed is still fresh.

ArdaFlex XXL
ArdaFlex XXL is a hydraulically curing, highly flexible thin-bed mortar with extremely high initial adhesion, activated by adding water. By adjusting the water ratio slightly, this powder adhesive becomes suitable for various applications. Thanks to its lightweight fillers, it achieves higher coverage on the back of tiles compared to conventional thin-bed mortars. These lightweight fillers also provide easy handling and processing. The cured adhesive mortar is durable against moisture, frost-resistant, and highly deformable. ArdaFlex XXL complies with the C2 TE - S1 requirements according to DIN EN 12004 / 12002 and also meets the EC1 standard.

Storage and Stability
Store in a cool, dry place. Minimum shelf life of 12 months if unopened and stored properly.
