Application
Ardatec Membrane is tested according to the "Bauregelliste A" and approved as an adhesive seal under tile and floor tile coverings for moisture load classes A, B, and C (abP), as well as A0 and B0 according to ZDB standards.
Installation
Substrate: Substrates must be solid, dry, and free of contaminants or separating materials. Suitable substrates for Ardatec Membrane sealing include concrete, screeds, cement plaster, aerated concrete, gypsum plaster, gypsum fiberboard, drywall, and well-fitting chipboard.
Installation: Do not apply Ardatec Membrane at substrate temperatures below +5°C or above +25°C.

Ardatec Membrane
Ardatec Membrane is a flexible, crack-bridging, ready-to-use, and waterproof sealing membrane for fast-bonding sealing under ceramic tiles and floor tiles. The sealing membrane is made of modified polyethylene, with polypropylene fleece on both the top and bottom sides. After bonding the sealing membrane, ceramic coverings can be laid immediately. It has a decoupling effect and is suitable for both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates on wall and floor surfaces, indoors, outdoors, and underwater.
Properties
- Bonding seal under tiles and floor tiles on wall and floor surfaces in bathrooms, showers, wet rooms, balconies and terraces, in pools up to 4m water depth, and on pool edges.
- Directly and indirectly loaded wall and floor surfaces with high exposure to non-pressurized water indoors, such as public shower rooms.
- Sealing for protection of substrates in chemically exposed rooms, such as institutional kitchens.
Storage and Stability
Store in a cool and dry place. Can be stored for approximately 24 months in the original packaging.
