Application

Bostik Landscaping Adhesive XP is a powerful construction adhesive with excellent adhesion to most building materials. Its high initial tack makes it ideal for bonding stone elements in gardens. Clamping is often unnecessary. Also highly suitable as a stone veneer adhesive (in combination with the appropriate primer).

Instructions for use

Substrate:

The substrate must be solid and sufficiently strong. It does not have to be completely dry (slightly damp is fine) but should not be wet with a visible water film.

Pre-treatment:

The materials to be bonded must be clean, dry/slightly damp, and free of dust and grease. For highly absorbent substrates, we recommend using Bostik Primer MSP. For bonding on non-porous substrates under high moisture or mechanical loads, use Bostik Prep M. When applying stone veneer, it is strongly advised to pre-treat the veneer with Bostik Primer MSP.

Application:

Apply Bostik Landscaping Adhesive XP using the supplied triangular nozzle in beads on the substrate or the element to be bonded. The nozzle should be held at a right angle to the surface while dispensing the adhesive. One cartridge allows for approximately 6.5 meters of adhesive bead. Press the bonded element firmly so the adhesive spreads between the surfaces.

Open time:

Apply the element to be bonded as quickly as possible and no later than 15 minutes (depending on temperature and relative humidity). During this time, the element can still be adjusted. Then press firmly or tap lightly with a rubber mallet.
