Application
Stucco W-140 is a high-quality leveling mortar designed to fill small irregularities, deep holes, service chases, and/or cracks. Also suitable for repairing and smoothing walls, ceilings, and floors (if finished with ceramic tiles). Thanks to its fast setting properties, tiling can begin quickly. Suitable substrates include cement-based and other mineral substrates such as masonry, concrete, existing plaster, etc.
Instructions for Use
Substrate: The substrate must be dry, solid, stable, and free of dust, dirt, and any separating agents. Layers that negatively affect adhesion must be removed. Prime absorbent substrates with Ardagrip Classic; prime non-absorbent substrates with Ardagrip Xpress. Very smooth and/or extremely dense substrates should be roughened and primed with Ardagrip Xpress. Always create a test area if in doubt.
Mixing: Mix Stucco W-140 with clean tap water in a clean container until lump-free. Use approximately 6.5 liters of water per 20 kg of powder. A mixing machine is recommended. Stir the mortar until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, then let it rest for 2 minutes and briefly remix before use. Do not re-dilute or remix hardened mortar. Processing time is approximately 45 minutes at 20°C. Only mix as much as can be applied within the processing time.
