Application
Sealing all types of glazing, particularly insulating glass. Sikaflex-84 UV+ is highly resistant to all weather conditions and adheres excellently to materials like glass, wood, and many types of paint finishes without a primer. For other materials such as PVC, the use of a primer is necessary.
Processing
The substrate should be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, and loose particles. It adheres without primers or activators. Apply between +5°C and +25°C. Apply the sealant evenly without air pockets using a caulking gun. Always apply the sealant in a downward direction and smooth it with a finishing tool or finishing agent. Do not apply the sealant during rainy or misty weather.
