Adhesive tape for universal use on both the interior and exterior of the building envelope. Ideal for airtight sealing of connections between wood-based panels (timber frame construction) and connections with adjacent materials such as roof windows. Can also be used on black vapor barrier membranes behind ventilated façade cladding. Also available with a two-part protective film.

Applications
Soudatape Façade is ideally suited for permanently sealing connections between wood-based panels as well as connections with adjacent smooth materials such as windows in roof planes and/or pipe penetrations. It is also highly effective for ‘invisible’ and airtight sealing of overlaps of black vapor barrier membranes and films behind façade cladding with open joints.
Instructions for Use
After partially removing the protective film, apply Soudatape Façade centered on the joint between wood and/or wood-based connections or on the overlapping vapor barrier membranes. Avoid creases in both the film and tape. Gradually remove the protective film and then press firmly over the entire length to be covered. If possible, use a pressure roller. Adhesive residue can be removed with water and soap. Do not use on frozen surfaces or surfaces with condensation.
