Processing
Butylene-X can be applied on clean and dry surfaces. Pre-treat with a cleaner, such as Zwaluw Cleaner, for degreasing the surface.

Zwaluw Butylene-X, formerly Zwaluw Butyleen, is a durable one-component mastic sealant based on polybutene and vegetable oil. After application, a paintable surface skin forms within 48 hours. Butylene-X can be used for sealing joints with minimal movement.
Storage and StabilityIn unopened original packaging, between +5°C and +25°C, it is shelf-stable for up to 12 months after the production date, provided it is stored in a dry place.
